SARAJEVO, March 3 (FENA) - Chairman of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bakir Izetbegović and a member of the BiH Presidency Šefik Džaferović laid flowers today at the Eternal Flame Memorial in Sarajevo with other state, federal, cantonal and municipal officials, on the occasion of the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
They congratulated all BiH citizens the Independence Day, stressing that freedom and independence are great things that need to be deeply appreciated.
"To have our own state and freedom is a huge thing. Sometimes we do not appreciate it enough, and I hope that we will appreciate it more in the future. March 1 is a confirmation of the identity and maturity of a nation that is able to take hold of its own fate," Izetbegović pointed out.
On this occasion, he also commented on the process of forming the government, noting that the coalitions gradually formed themselves by the fact that the left-wing parties do not want to join the coalition.
Commenting on the appointment of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Šefik Džaferović pointed out that the BiH Presidency works on the basis of the Constitution, and the principle of the rule of law.
"As the BiH Presidency we are obliged to give the mandate, but those who propose Zoran Tegeltija to this duty are obliged to send the First Annual National Plan for the MAP to Brussels. We heard from the Chairman of the BiH Presidency,Milorad Dodik as the president of the party that has nominated Tegeltija, that they do not want to do it. Of course, there must be a way to submit the aforementioned plan to the NATO because it is an obligation of BiH. It is up to Dodik and his political party and I am waiting for them to meet this obligation," said Džaferović.
