BANJA LUKA, March 5 (FENA) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and President of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) Milorad Dodik announced that he will meet tomorrow with HDZ and SDA leaders Dragan Čović and Bakir Izetbegović in Sarajevo, and reiterated that his party will not accept any conditioning in connection with the establishment of the new convocation of the Council of Ministers of BiH.
He said that HDZ has not conditioned anything, and that he waits for SDA, which, as he said, “is trying to impose the resolving of the issue of the Annual National Plan of BiH for NATO, before the formation of the Council of Ministers, while the representatives of SNSD did not participate in preparation of this plan.”
He pointed out that the officials in Brussels yesterday when he held a meeting with them stated that they “expect a quick formation of power without any conditioning, including the MAP, because there are EU members that are not also members of that military alliance.”
Dodik reiterated that “SNSD remains committed to the RSNA resolution on military neutrality.”
“BiH has certain level of cooperation with NATO through the Partnership for Peace Program and in some of the missions throughout the world, and that is where we want to leave it at,” said Dodik, adding that “the best thing for BiH would be the principle of military neutrality.”
