SARAJEVO, April 3 (FENA) - Director General of the EU Military Staff (DG EUMS) Lieutenant General Esa Pulkkinen, together with the EU delegation, visited Ministry of Defense of BiH (MoD) today, where they met with Minister of Defense of BiH Marina Pendeš and her associates.
Pendeš thanked the EU delegation for visiting the Ministry of Defense of BiH within its visit to EUFOR-Althea Mission.
Director General of the EU Military Staff Lt. General Esa Pulkkinen emphasized that today's visit is a symbol of support to defense institutions to help progress towards the European integration and thanked for participation of members of Armed Forces of BiH in the EU Training Mission in Central African Republic.
"This fact demonstrates the will of BiH to share the EU values, to contribute to establishment of peace, security and stability in the world. Your progress is what we want," concluded Pulkkinen, whereas the Operation Commander of the EU Althea Mission Lieutenant General Olivier Rittimann stated that the EUFOR Althea mission is actually "continuity of peace, security and stability".
Director General of the EU Military Staff (DG EUMS) Lt. General Esa Pulkkinen, together with the EU delegation also visited the Joint Staff of BiH AF and met with Lieutenant General Senad Mašović, PR Office of BiH MoD stated.
