BELGRADE, April 4 (FENA) - Deputy Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina Saša Dalipagić, on behalf of BiH, signed today in Belgrade, as part of the Digital Summit of the Western Balkan countries, an Agreement on reducing the prices of roaming services in public mobile communications networks in the region.
The Regional Roaming Agreement will allow significantly lower cost of roaming in the countries of the Western Balkans starting July 1, 2019.
Apart from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the agreement was signed by the departmental ministers of Albania, Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia and Serbia.
Roaming prices in the first phase will be reduced by 27 percent as of July 1, and as of July 1, 2021, it is expected that the roaming will be completely abolished in the Western Balkans region.
The cost of roaming with Albania will be reduced by as much as 85 percent, since Albania has not yet been part of the agreement signed in 2014 by Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and BiH, stated the BiH Ministry of Communications and Transport.
