SARAJEVO, April 5 (FENA) - A group of 90 students of the Faculty of Law, University of Sarajevo, visited on Friday the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The students were divided into groups to attend hearings held in the case of Boško Peulić et al. before Section I for War Crimes, and the case of Anes Sadiković et al. before Section II for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption.

In June 2018, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Faculty of Law, University of Sarajevo, signed an Agreement on Scientific, Educational and Professional Cooperation.

The Agreement covers several aspects of cooperation, namely, lectures and presentations, students, professional gatherings and research.

According to the Agreement, the Court and the Faculty of Law have defined the first quarterly Calendar of Activities, which specified the steps to be taken for the development of a higher degree of cooperation between the two judicial and educational institutions

The objective of today’s visit was to enable the third-year students of the first cycle of studies, who attend classes in Law of Criminal Procedure II, to see the practical application of procedural law.

The Court and the Faculty of Law will continue to carry out activities in line with the agreed plan, about which the public will be duly informed, stated the BiH Court.
