SARAJEVO, May 29 (FENA) - The BiH Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik and members of the BiH Presidency, Željko Komšić and Šefik Džaferović, received today Head of the EU Delegation to BiH and EU Special Representative to BiH Ambassador Lars-Gunnar Wigemark.
Ambassador Wigemark presented the members of the BiH Presidency the Opinion of the European Commission on the candidate status of BiH, presented today in Brussels by Johannes Hahn, Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, within the "Enlargement Package for 2019", to the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the European Parliament.
The Opinion presents a comprehensive analysis of the situation in the country, as well as everything that has been done so far and what remains as an obligation on the path to membership in the European Union.
The European Commission has presented a roadmap for reforms, primarily in the areas of democracy, the rule of law and public administration.
Once again, Wigemark reiterated the support and commitment to the European path of BiH and the continuation of the reform processes.
Members of the BiH Presidency thanked Ambassador Wigemark for his engagement and commitment to the European perspective of BiH, and reiterated their commitment to continue on the reform path to meet all the conditions for the next stage in the EU integration of the country, the BiH Presidency said.
