BIJELJINA, June 2 (FENA) - President of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) Milorad Dodik has denied allegations about the withdrawal of his party officials from the institutions at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He says the SNSD remains in power at the state level "in order to avoid, as it was the case in some earlier periods, that Serb representatives abandon their posts and then some others came who caused even greater damage."
He claims that, "BiH might have been a functional state if it was treated as a state union of three constituent peoples and two entities, but that it cannot happen, because Bosniaks want to impose themselves as the majority who determine what needs to be done."
He announced that after returning from Russia, where he will discuss the gasification of the entity of RS at the Economic Forum in St. Petersburg, a meeting will be held with the political leaders of the ruling coalition in RS.
