Migrants clash again in downtown Bihać, one person severely injured

BIHAĆ, June 7 (FENA) - A 24-year-old Afghan national has been seriously injured in today's brawl among the migrants in downtown Bihać. He sustained injuries in the stomach inflicted by a sharp object, and was immediately hospitalized at the Dr. Irfan Ljubijankić Cantonal Hospital.

“The police station in Bihać at about 1 pm received a call about the incident and mass fighting of, most likely, foreign nationals in the City Park, in the immediate vicinity of a kindergarten. The on-duty teams were immediately sent to the location where they found one person severely injured.

He sustained stab wounds in the stomach area, and was immediately transported to the Cantonal Hospital in Bihać. In the meantime, it has been established that the person is a 25-year-old citizen of Afghanistan,” said the spokesman of the Una-Sana Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs (MoI USC) Ale Šiljdedić.

Police officers are still conducting investigation at the scene, after which more information will be available to the public.
