SARAJEVO, June 9 (FENA) - The Austrian ball, the third in a row that was held in Sarajevo, gathered a large number of participants and guests in the City Hall this Saturday.
This event has classified Sarajevo on a list of world cities where the ball is held regularly, and the goal of the organizer is to achieve richer and more beautiful cultural content each year.
The event began with a parade on a red carpet in front of the City Hall. Ambassador of Austria Ulrike Hartmann expressed satisfaction that the ball has become a recognizable event in Sarajevo's cultural calendar.
"This has been a special opportunity for meetings and gatherings, and as such, this city confirms strong ties between Austria and Bosnia and Herzegovina," said Hartmann.
Mayor of Sarajevo Abdulah Skaka stressed that it is an honor to hold the Austrian Ball in Sarajevo.
"This ball is a continuation of good relations between the two cities," said Skaka, and reminded that the initiator of this event was the former ambassador of Austria to BiH Martin Pammer.
The organizers consulted many artists from Vienna, Sarajevo and the whole region.
The association "Austrian Ball in BiH" is the organizer of the event with the support of the Sarajevo City Administration and the Embassy of the Republic of Austria in BiH.
