BANJA LUKA, June 30 (FENA) – Mirko Šarović is the new president of the Serb Democratic Party (SDS) , it is unofficially confirmed.
Šarović has been elected at the Party Assembly which was held today in Banja Luka. Šarović received 204 votes of 400 present deputies.
The incumbent Main Committee president was also in the run for the leaders of the strongest opposition Party. He received 181 votes.
Mirko Šarović is the 7th president of SDS.
Members of the Main Committee were also elected at the Assembly and the Statute was ammended.
