SARAJEVO, July 30 (FENA) - BiH Presidency Chairman Željko Komšić attended today the marking of the 27th anniversary of the death of Čedomir Čeda Domuz and Smajo Soma. He laid flowers at the memorial of Brezovac on Igman and delivered a speech commemorating the heroes who defended Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He told attendees that 27 years have passed since these heroes have died and that they are missed by everyone, most of all their children and family.
“Because of them, we must not forget all that Čedo and Smajo did for the defense of Igman, in the crucial moments of organizing the defense, until their premature and tragic death in the operation to liberate Trnovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said Komšić.
In his words, they were simple and good people who loved their city, their homeland and the people who live in it. When the war began, they did not care for the consequences, but together with their comrades they fought for the freedom of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the freedom of all who live in it.
