SARAJEVO, July 31 (FENA) - President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Bakir Izetbegović has offered Milorad Dodik, leader of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD), to accept a reduced Annual National Program, with Bosnia and Herzegovina's path to NATO integration to be the subject of later negotiations.
In an interview with BHRT, Izetbegović sent a message to the SNSD leader that his party remains one of the main partners for the government forming, but that it is now up to Dodik to take the next step.
“We are ready to accept that there will be no NATO membership without a new consensus, we will not force anyone, but we cannot give up the rule of law and respect for the Constitution,” said Izetbegović.
