OSCE Mission and Prosecutor's Office - Efficient judiciary and law enforcement

SARAJEVO, August 14 (FENA) - BiH Prosecutor General Gordana Tadić informed the OSCE Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Bruce G. Berton on activities in the prosecution of war crimes cases in BiH, efforts made by the BiH Prosecutor's Office and partner institutions in BiH and the region, invests in fighting impunity for war crimes and speeding up the processing of individual cases.

The projects and activities that the OSCE Mission to BiH is pursuing with the Prosecutor's Office of BiH and judicial institutions were also discussed, with the aim of strengthening the rule of law.

It was pointed out that the cooperation of the two institutions is extremely important for the rule of law, and that the OSCE Mission to BiH and the Prosecutor's Office of BiH have the same goal, namely the efficiency of the judiciary and the delivery of justice for victims.

The efforts and activities carried out by the Prosecutor's Office of BiH have been assessed as a significant step towards achieving justice, and the activities of the OSCE Mission to BiH as an important support to judicial institutions in BiH.

The OSCE Mission to BiH and the Prosecutor's Office of BiH will continue to implement the ongoing projects aimed at strengthening the rule of law, the BiH Prosecutor's Office said.
