BANJA LUKA, September 2 (FENA) – President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska (RS) Nedeljko Čubrilović says that there is no reason not to form a new Council of Ministers that should reflect will of the citizens, meaning that the government should be formed by parties that have won in the RS and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During his interview with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Petr Ivantsov, Čubrilović said that one of the basic principles of democracy is that the representatives of the constituent peoples who won the most votes form and exercise power because that is the point of holding elections.
He added that the RS continues to insist that the results of last year's general elections be implemented and, finally, the formation of government at the level of joint bodies in Bosnia and Herzegovina be completed, the Office of the President of the National Assembly announced.
Čubrilović and Ambassador Ivantzov noted that there is a very good inter-regional cooperation between the RS and the Russian regions, especially emphasizing the cooperation with St. Petersburg.
