BLED, September 3 (FENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Crnadak spoke today with the US Secretary of State and Special Representative for the Western Balkans, Matthew Palmer at a conference in Bled, Slovenia.

Crnadak wrote in his Facebook post that the US wants the government to be formed at all levels as soon as possible, to continue with the strengthening of the institutions and the rule of law.

He also said that “the US wants to make it clear that the Annual National Program (ANP), which has become a stumbling block when it comes to establishing power, does not mean membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and that now is not the time when this decision is to be made.”

“The Kosovo issue remains the most important issue in the region, but the United States and Palmer, as the country’s Special Representative, will be very much present and interested in supporting the reforms in BiH,” Crnadak wrote.

Crnadak participated in the 14th Bled Strategic Forum on the topic of "Sources of (In)stability".
