SIPA receives 489 criminal reports

SARAJEVO, September 4 (FENA) - Police officers from the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) registered a total of 410 calls to the “Crime stoppers” telephone line, 14 of which provided useful information about crimes or perpetrators committed or planned, on the basis of which the same number of criminal reports were made.

In addition, a total of 79 reports were received through the electronic crime reporting form, out of which 13 information on committed or planned crimes and perpetrators were rated as useful, based on which the same number of criminal reports were made, SIPA announced.

The majority of information referred to criminal offenses related to narcotic drugs, weapons, trafficking in human beings, economic crime. Out of the total number of information received through "Crime stoppers" and electronic form, 17 were forwarded to the competent police authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina for further processing, and ten were processed by SIPA.
