SARAJEVO, September 11 (FENA) – Party of Democratic Action (SDA) requested from the Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry of FBiH, the FBiH Government, Elektroprivreda BiH and mine managements to intensify their efforts and allow immediate payment of salaries to miners.
They state that new crisis in the Zenica and Breza Coal Mines indicates an urgent need for systemic reforms in order to make the mine operations profitable and productive.
“Collection of taxes, in accordance with legal obligations, should not be called into question. No one can be exempted from this obligation, but the institutions of the system must show sensitivity and find a solution that will enable tax collection, taking care not to lead to large social breakdowns and jeopardize business entities,” SDA stated.
