SARAJEVO, September 16 (FENA) - The Western Balkans Regional Democracy Program - ReLOaD has issued a call for innovative solutions to enhance citizens' voice and help local governments respond more effectively to demands in their local communities.
“This is a unique opportunity for citizens, with their ideas or projects, to contribute to better communication in local communities. We want to encourage change, in order to be successful we think that they should come from the citizens themselves,” said the project manager of ReLOaD program for BiH Sanja Bokun.
At a hackathon to be held as part of the event, a special jury will select the winning team that will receive support to further develop their idea, the organizers said.
ReLOaD is an initiative funded by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
