BOSANSKA KRUPA, September 18 (FENA) - Citizens of Bosanska Krupa marked the 24th anniversary of liberation with a solemn session of the Municipal Council preceded by visits to the martyrs and laying flowers.

Marking the anniversary of the day of liberation, September 17, was attended by the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić, who was honored by the Municipal Council with the “Honorary Citizen of the Municipality of Bosanska Krupa”. Representatives from the cantonal legislative and executive power were also present.

Komšić said on this occasion that this event creates his personal connection to Bosanska Krupa, which is a serious responsibility.

“It's not a matter of just being here, being honored and leave. This creates an obligation as well. I feel obliged from now on not only towards the authorities, but also towards the citizens of Bosanska Krupa, and this is no longer just an honor, it can also be a great responsibility,” said Komšić.

At the ceremonial session of the Municipal Council, a short documentary film "Bosanska Krupa - a city for all times" was presented, in which, instead of the municipal mayor's report, an overview of economic development of the municipality in the past few years was shown. Much has been done in this area, but further significant investments are needed in the future.
