SDA urges RS authorities to enforce decision of European Court of Human Rights

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, October 1 (FENA) - The decision of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg in case of illegally built church in Konjević-Polje is the final legal confirmation of the fact that RS entity authorities are threatening the fundamental rights of Fata Orlović, the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) stated today.

SDA requests the RS authorities to implement this decision of the European Court of Human Rights, in full compliance with the provisions of Protocol 1 of the European Convention on Human Rights concerning the protection of property.

“We expect the RS authorities to ensure full equality of Bosniaks and Croats in the RS entity, in other issues, such as the right of language, employment and participation in public sector and entity name and symbols, as required by European standards and case law of the European Court of Human Rights,” SDA said in a statement.
