SARAJEVO, October 27 (FENA) - The agreement and partnership of leading political parties that have received voter confidence in the elections for the legitimate representation of constituent peoples is extremely important to the progress and development of the Federation of BiH and the country as a whole. We are aware that it will be difficult to reach a full agreement on all issues in BiH that all parties would be pleased with, but the meeting on Monday between the HDZ BiH and the SDA is an opportunity for a new step.
We need to continue the talks and intensify them because too much time has been wasted. One year since the elections, and BiH still has no new government. Therefore, we should also be prepared for an additional compromise and agreement for a solution acceptable to all, said Marinko Čavara, Vice President of the HDZ BiH and President of the Federation of BiH before the announced meeting in Mostar on Monday.
He expressed belief that the meeting would be successful with constructive proposals that would normalize relations and bring us one step closer to forming government at the state and the FBiH levels.
"With the new convocation of the Council of Ministers, we create the conditions for the country's progress, better relations between peoples, progress on the EU and NATO paths, as well as implementation of the Constitutional Court's decisions and harmonization of the Election Law with the Constitution of BiH.
The rule of law is an absolute priority of the HDZ BiH as well as the SDA BiH, which implies free elections and the exercise of the will of the voters, emphasized the President of the Federation of BiH.
