SARAJEVO, November 2 (FENA) - In the 2018 election campaign, I asked Bakir Izetbegović only one question. I urged him to answer why he lied to us all and politically gambled with the Srebrenica genocide in revising the lawsuit against Serbia, said SDP BiH President Nermin Nikšić said in response to recent statements in the media by the SDA leader Bakir Izetbegović.
"He did not answer the question but said he would like to sit down with President Donald Trump, but he couldn't. He did not meet with Trump, but he destroyed the lawsuit. A year later, he admitted that he deliberately lied to all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding the review of the lawsuit," says Nikšić.
The SDP president also points out that Izetbegović, trying to justify himself, has again shown that he does not understand the essence of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The right to truth and justice belongs to all victims, not only to the one people.
"I, for Izetbegović, am not Trump, but neither is he a president of the citizens of this country as he has never fought honestly for them and their right to be equal throughout the country. This is especially evident today, as he backs down in front of the SNSD in his statements cowardly renouncing the ANP, and uses his thesis that 'Serbs do not want to do something", therefore placing me among the ranks of 'Bosniak leaders'.
"I am a Bosniak, but I am not a 'Bosniak leader', nor do I have any ambition to be. I am the president of a Bosnian party, where all its members are leaders. I am the president of a party that wants us to have a state where laws must be obeyed, instead of the wishes of self-proclaimed 'leaders', and where the will of the people expressed in the elections must be respected, and a country where all of us must obey the Constitution and the laws. We have had enough of them teaching us what the peoples want, while at every opportunity they lie, cheat and betray their own people and all the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina," said Nikšić, president of SDP BiH.
