SARAJEVO, December 8 (FENA) - Diplomatic Winter Bazaar, whose mission is to raise funds to help children and youth across BiH, was held at Skenderija Center in Sarajevo yesterday.
More than 40 embassies and international organizations, as well as more than 80 local presenters and non-governmental organizations attended the Bazaar. Visitors could find a wide selection of exotic dishes and drinks, as well as unique handicrafts from all over the world. It is a humanitarian event aimed at raising money for children with special needs, children without parental care, and children who are in social need through sale of tickets, various items, souvenirs, food and drinks.
The embassies of Brazil, Montenegro, Qatar, Pakistan and Poland joined the bazaar this year, as the Organizing Committee members pointed out when opening the event.
Bazaar is a traditional winter family charity event organized by members of the international community in BiH in cooperation with local communities and the Bazaar was supported by Sarajevo Canton Government and the City of Sarajevo.
