SARAJEVO, December 18 (FENA) - Adopting the Bill on the Budget of the State Institutions and International Obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2019 in the second reading concluded today's session of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly.
A budget of around KM 1.8 billion was adopted in this House at the end of the year, but in order to complete the procedure for adopting the most important financial document of the state, it is necessary for it to be confirmed in the House of Peoples in both readings in the identical content.
The Bill Amending the Law on Salaries and Allowances in the BiH institutions proposed by the Alliance for a Better Future (SBB) MP, Damir Arnaut, which was considered under urgent legislative procedure, did not receive the necessary entity majority to pass the law.
The deputies also supported one of the five reform laws that promote financial stability in BiH aligning this law with the relevant European Union Directives.
At the end of the session, the deputies unanimously agreed to the signing of numerous international financial agreements worth more than one billion euros, intended for the implementation of the project in the field of road construction, communal economy, and ecology.
The House Speaker Denis Zvizdić (SDA) announced that the fifth emergency session of the House could be scheduled for December 23 or 30, depending on whether all the procedures would be completed.
A new convocation of the BiH Council of Ministers is expected to be constituted at that session, more than 14 months after the parliamentary elections.
