SARAJEVO, December 23 (FENA) - MPs in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina today have confirmed the appointment of a new convocation of the Council of Ministers, meaning that Bosnia and Herzegovina finally has a new government 14 months after the general elections in October 2018.
The new convocation will be headed by Zoran Tegeltija (SNSD).
Twenty-nine MPs voted in favor of this decision, eight opposed, while one abstained.
Ministers in the new convocation of the BiH Council of Ministers are Bisera Turković, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Staša Kosarac, Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations; Vjekoslav Bevanda, Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH; Vojin Mitrović, Minister of Communications and Transport; Ankica Gudeljević, Minister of Civil Affairs; Josip Grubeša, Minister of Justice; Fahrudin Radončić, Minister of Security and Sifet Podžić, Minister of Defense of BiH.
Mlađen Božović, a DNS candidate for minister of human rights and refugees, should be confirmed subsequently.
Ministers and Deputy Ministers today have taken solemn oath to abide by and act in accordance with the Constitution and laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
