BANJA LUKA, January 9 (FENA) - Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić said today at a parade in Banja Luka that the country and this part of Europe need peace, stability, economic prosperity, jobs, better salaries and pensions and a better future.

"The policy of the Government of Serbia and President Aleksandar Vučić is a policy of cooperation with everyone, of understanding among the peoples of the Balkans, of a policy of peace and of the future," she said.

Addressing the academy on the occasion of the unconstitutional "Day of RS", Brnabić said that “it is necessary to continue a proactive role when it comes to cooperation with everyone in the region, and that Serbia, with full respect for the Dayton Agreement, will continue to improve relations with RS, without endangering anyone.”

She announced the continuation of assistance to the entity of RS, primarily by investing in education, and they have already provided financial resources and professional support for the introduction of the first 500 digital classrooms across the entity.

Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik reiterated that the RS will continue to celebrate January 9, regardless of the decision of the BiH Constitutional Court on its unconstitutionality and “despite the fact that Bosniaks and Croats dispute it”.

"We do not accept the inquisition of the Constitutional Court of BiH, which imposed a decision on us through the votes of three foreigners and two Bosniaks ... We will continue to fight through political means," Dodik said in an address at a solemn academy held on the occasion of this unconstitutional holiday.

He claims that “the RS is large enough for everyone who wants to live in it, and that the RS should not shy away from full integration with Serbia."

He asserted that "the RS will fight for the right to self-determination, with conviction that the time will come when it will have the right to exercise it".

The entity president Željka Cvijanović stressed that the RS advocates for consistent compliance with the Dayton Agreement.

“We are committed to cooperation and coordination within BiH, but we do not accept the removal of the entity competencies. We want all peoples in BiH to be good partners with each other,” she said.

In addition to RS officials, the academy was attended by Russian Ambassador Petr Ivantsov, ministers in the Government of Serbia, Nebojša Stefanović and Aleksandar Vulin, envoy of the President of Serbia Nikola Selaković, Chief of the General Staff of the Army of the Republic of Serbia, General Milan Mojsilović, and the Patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Irinej.
