BANJA LUKA, January 12 (FENA) - Separatists in Bosnia and Herzegovina are strongly encouraged by the inaction of the international community and the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, warned the RS Vice President Ramiz Salkić.

He indicated that the High Representative has for years tolerated disrespect for the Dayton Peace Agreement and endangering peace in various ways, as well as the methods of pursuing the wartime goals of Bosnian Serb used in the post-war period.

"The Prosecutor's Office has failed to react to a direct threat to the constitutional order in Bosnia and Herzegovina, disrespect for the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and there was no reaction to causing racial, religious and ethnic intolerance.

For years, disrespect for court judgments has been tolerated, war criminals are glorified, crimes have been denied and victims have been humiliated. All of this strongly encourages part of the Bosnian Serbs towards separatism, and so do nationalists from Serbia with their statements and actions.

The threats and attempts of separatism of the Bosnian Serbs surely will not stop, and only the extremely naïve should doubt it. This is supported by the militarization of the entity police, but also by the fact that a provision has been introduced in the defense strategy of Serbia about the RS entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina," said Salkić.

He believes that "an extremely nationalist government in Serbia and a separatist-minded part of the Bosnian Serbs are working directly towards annulling the Dayton Peace Agreement and endangering peace, by announcing the secession of the entity of RS and the story of two Serb states in the Balkans."

"These activities are directly supported by the Serbian Orthodox Church, as it was during the aggression against the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is a clear announcement of aggression in the coming period and the creation of a legal framework for such actions in the future. It is our duty to warn about these intentions right now, but also to be prepared to protect the country and the citizens of our country. I urge the High Representative, the PIC and the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to finally begin doing their job and stand against such intentions, which will at some point endanger peace and security in this country," concluded Salkić.
