Info day on the public call for grants from Dialogue for the Future program

SARAJEVO, January 15 (FENA) - Public institutions, local government units and civil society organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia may apply to a public call for a grant under the USD 600,000 Regional Dialogue for the Future program, which is open until February 9.

Coordinator of the regional program 'Dialogue for the future' Alma Mirvić spoke to the media today at the presentation of the public call at the info day, about the application procedure for that public invitation, the details, forms, etc.

Seven priority areas have been identified through the dialogue platform which the participants singled out as important for strengthening social cohesion in BiH, Montenegro and Serbia.

The priorities relate to strengthening the capacities of young people, improving the education system for stronger social cohesion, media and information literacy, environmental protection, and improving gender equality.

So far, through the program, 12 dialogue platforms have been implemented in all three countries, and there have been more than 1,200 participants discussing social cohesion.

The Regional Dialogue for the Future program is implemented by UNDP, UNICEF and UNESCO in partnership with state institutions in BiH, Montenegro and Serbia, with financial support from the United Nations Peacebuilding Fund.

'Info Day' will also take place in Banja Luka on January 22.
