BiH PA House of Representatives did not vote on law on conflict of interest

SARAJEVO, January 16 (FENA) - The House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly has adopted Bill on Amendments to the Law on Administrative Disputes of BiH, proposed by the BiH Council of Ministers.

The proposed law, previously adopted by the BiH Council of Ministers, advances existing solutions and removes ambiguities for better implementation of this law in practice.

The deputies did not vote on the principles of the Bill on the Prevention of Conflict of Interests in the Institutions of Government of BiH, proposed by Saša Magazinović, Damir Arnaut and Jasmin Emrić.

The Bill on Amendments to the Law on Financing the Institutions of BiH, proposed by the BiH Council of Ministers, did not receive the required majority of votes, and was submitted to the Collegium for harmonization.

For the same reason, the Bill on Amendments to the Patent Law, the Bill on Amendments to the Law on the Judicial Police of BiH, proposed by the Council of Ministers of BiH, were also submitted to the Collegium for harmonization.

The Bill on Amendments to the Law on Permanent and Temporary Residence of BiH Citizens, proposed by MP Zlatan Begić, was also submitted to the Collegium for harmonization due to the lack of an entity majority.

The Report - a detailed analysis of the work of the BiH Export-Credit Agency was also submitted to the Collegium for harmonization, with particular emphasis on its operations with Bosnian steel pipes manufacturer Unis Derventa, with proposals for measures to address the work of this agency.

The BiH Attorney General's Work Report for 2018 was adopted, while MPs did not adopt the 2018 General Election Report and the 2018 Law Enforcement Report.

Deputies approved the ratification of several international agreements, treaties, conventions, protocols.

The House of Representatives session is over and the next one is scheduled for February 4.
