SARAJEVO, January 27 (FENA) - Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, Staša Košarac has confirmed that the Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service of the Russian Federation has approved the imports of planting material and seedlings to the producers in BiH.
“These are companies from Šamac (Poljargo) and Čapljina (Adria Hishtil), which are on the list of registered exporters of planting materials and seedlings from BiH to the Russian Federation.
Some 2,000,000 tomato and pepper seedlings from the Šamac-based company and about 1,200,000 apple and pear planting material from the Čapljina-based company are ready for the Russian Federation market,” said Košarac.
He urged all producers of planting materials and seedlings in BiH to apply through the BiH Plant Health Administration for a request to export their products to the Russian Federation.
The Russian veterinary and phytosanitary inspectors visited BiH at the end of 2019, inspected and controlled the production facilities of the companies that applied for the export requirements in accordance with the requirements of the Russian Federation market, stated the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH.
