SARAJEVO, January 31 (FENA) - The Embassy of India to Bosnia and Herzegovina on Thursday celebrated the 71st Day of the Republic of India in Sarajevo.
Diplomatic corps, aficionados of India and Indian culture, representatives of political, cultural and public life in BiH attended a reception at which Ambassador of India Kumar Tuhin addressed the guests, together with the Federation of BiH President Marinko Čavara, pointing out good diplomatic relations between India and BiH, but also future strengthening of bilateral cooperation.
The Constitution of India came into force on January 26, 1950.
The event was accompanied by traditional Indian dance and music performed by artists from India and Hungary, as well as a Bollywood-style performance by the Sarajevo-based Bellarte ensemble from Sarajevo.
The event was organized in cooperation with the association of Bosnian-Indian Friendship, stated the association.
