SARAJEVO, February 4 (FENA) - Representatives of the Sarajevo International Airport are in contact with all relevant institutions, and all measures have been taken to reduce the exposure and the possibility of transmission of coronavirus, Spokeswoman of the Sarajevo International Airport Sanja Bagarić-Arnaut confirmed for FENA.

She stressed that all employees who are in direct contact with passengers are required to wear masks, gloves and other protective equipment.

“We inform travelers about the recommendations of the World Health Organization, which have been announced by the Public Health Institute, through monitors, websites, leaflets and other communication channels,” said Bagarić-Arnaut.

When it comes to medical screening, the decision to implement such measures is taken by the public health institutes.

“Instruments used to check the temperature of passengers are provided by institutions responsible for scanning passengers. They identify the teams and bring the equipment needed to do the passenger scan. In this case, it is the FBIH and cantonal public health institutes and the sanitary border inspector at the Sarajevo International Airport,” Bagarić-Arnaut pointed out.
