SARAJEVO, February 4 (FENA) - Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, Staša Košarac, received Zsuzsanna Hargitai, Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for the Western Balkans today in Sarajevo.
The two officials discussed infrastructure projects with a focus on the construction of the Corridor Vc. Emphasis was also placed on the development of sustainable tourism in BiH.
It was pointed out that the EBRD supports the advancement of this sector, and that it is ready to financially support tourism development strategies in BiH.
Minister Košarac particularly addressed the opportunities for the development of rural tourism, which he said could be BiH's development opportunity.
He emphasized the importance of development and improvement of human capacities and education of tourism personnel for the needs of the modern markets.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the formation of industrial and free economic zones in BiH on the Corridor Vc belt, stated the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH.
