SARAJEVO, February 19 (FENA) - The House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has adopted the conclusions establishing that this House does not accept the invitation of the National Assembly of the entity of Republika Srpska to define "the line of the border" because, under Annex II of the General Framework Agreement for Peace in BiH, no border between the entities exists, but rather an inter-entity boundary line which has solely administrative significance.
This conclusion initiated by the Collegium of the House was not supported by the HDZ BiH-led caucus, which suggested, among other things, that "the House of Representatives calls on representatives of the international community to assist in the process of preserving peace and constitutional order in BiH," and the adoption of all solutions “that result from dialogue within the framework of the BiH Constitution and European standards."
In one of the conclusions adopted, the House of Representatives called on "the BiH Parliamentary Assembly to pass laws that would mandate the use of state-owned land by lower administrative and local self-government units."
The House also called on "the High Representative in BiH to sanction all political officials who are, or have been acting against the constitutional order, undermining the General Framework Agreement for Peace in BiH and rejected to enforce the decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH and the European Court of Human Rights."
