SARAJEVO, March 3 (FENA) – Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers Zoran Tegeltija met today in Sarajevo with Croatian Ambassador to BiH Ivan Sabolić and discussed current political and economic situation in BiH and region, as well as the possibilities of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in areas of mutual interest.
Chairman Tegeltija stressed the commitment of the Council of Ministers to make every effort to continue BiH's accession process to the European Union, which, he stressed, requires the joint action of all levels of government in BiH, with full respect for authorities and coordination mechanism.
Speaking about the current political situation in the country, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers emphasized that the full respect for the Dayton Peace Agreement and respect for the constitutional structure of BiH, which implies full equality of the three constituent peoples, are crucial for functioning of institutions at the BiH level and for strengthening political dialogue.
The interlocutors assessed that the bilateral relations between the two countries were good, and expressed their commitment to solving all outstanding issues, with mutual respect and for the benefit of citizens of both countries.
They also discussed current security and health challenges related to the migrant crisis and the emergence of coronavirus, the BiH Council of Ministers announced.
