This year's revenues of ITA BiH increased by 35 million KM

FENA Press release

BANJA LUKA, March 3 (FENA) - Indirect tax revenues in the first two months of 2020 amounted to 1 billion and 230 million KM, an increase of 35 million KM or 2.99 percent compared to the same period in 2019, stated the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) BiH on Tuesday.

In the first two months of this year, ITA returned 214 million KM to the economy, which is 14 million KM less than in the same period last year.

Net collected revenues that went to distribution to beneficiaries in the first two months of 2020, namely the state, entities and the Brčko District, amounted to 1 billion and 16 million KM, which is 49 million KM more than the revenues the users received from the Single Account in the same period of 2019.

An amount of 119 million KM has been allocated for financing of the state institutions in the first two months of 2020.

State institutions receive the same amount from indirect tax revenue each year, while the surplus of revenues collected annually by the ITA ends up in the entity treasuries and the Brčko District.

Thus, in the first two months of 2020, a total of 566 million KM was allocated to the Federation of BiH, 288 million KM to the entity of Republika Srpska, and 30 million KM to the Brčko District.
