BANJA LUKA, March 5 (FENA) - Minister of Health of the entity of Republika Srpska (RS) Alen Šeranić confirmed Thursday evening that 26 pupils and 12 teachers of the Elementary School "Branko Ćopić" in Banja Luka have been tested for coronavirus and that all test results came back negative.

They remain in isolation for the next 14 days because a pupil infected with the virus attends the said school, which is why testing of schoolmates and teachers with whom he has been in direct contact was conducted today.

The health status of a male person from Banja Luka and his son, the first to be infected with the coronavirus, is stable for now. Their condition is being monitored and they are in a hospital in Banja Luka.

The wife and mother of these two patients has been placed in home isolation.

Šeranić also noted that the World Health Organization technical assistance representative is expected to arrive tomorrow, and again urged citizens to comply with health recommendations.

An infected middle-aged man has returned from Italy, where he works, and is the first confirmed case of coronavirus infection in BiH.
