Swedish Ambassador Johanna Strömquist visits Municipality of Srebrenica

SREBRENICA, March 10 (FENA) - Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to BiH, Johanna Strömquist, met today with Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Srebrenica Hamdija Fejzić, Assembly Speaker Nedib Smajić, and Assembly Vice President Dragić Glišić.  

Ambassador Strömquist did not make any press statements, but Srebrenica Assembly Vice President Dragić Glišić said at the meeting that they discussed proposals and projects that could be implemented in cooperation with the Swedish Embassy.

“They discussed ecological projects as well as cross-border cooperation projects related to the Drina and Tara national parks. They talked about renovating apartments for young married couples in the Skelane area. The officials also discussed a possible study visit to Sweden, as well as the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the commemoration in Potočari,” said Glišić.

Speaker of the Assembly of the Municipality of Srebrenica Nedib Smajić said that they informed Swedish Ambassador Johanna Strömquist about all the municipality's activities in 2019.
