BANJA LUKA, March 13 (FENA) - A contract to build a new border crossing Bratunac - Ljubovija, which should be completed in the next 365 days and whose total value is 13.981.630,68 KM, has been signed today at the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) of BiH.
Miro Džakula, director of ITA and Miroslav Lazarević, director of the company “Enikon-gradnja” Bratunac (consortium holder) signed the contract on construction of the new border crossing Bratunac - Ljubovija today in Banja Luka.
The new border crossing will be the joint location of customs and police authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Serbia in the future, and it will be an international border crossing where goods that are subject to inspection will be allowed.
The ITA states that since the new border crossing will be built on the site with a total area of 30,000 m2, it will have three entrance and three exit lanes, facilities for accommodation of customs and police services of the two countries, inspection bodies and all other supporting facilities.
Prior to the start of the work, the ITA, in accordance with the applicable legal regulations, also made the selection of the Institute of Civil Engineering IG Banja Luka, which will monitor the construction of the Bratunac - Ljubovija border crossing.
