BANJA LUKA, March 15 (FENA) - Bosnia and Herzegovina is at the very beginning of the fight against coronavirus, which threatens to endanger citizens' health and overall economic life in BiH, stated the BiH Council of Ministers Chairman Zoran Tegeltija after a meeting with the entity prime ministers Fadil Novalić and Radovan Višković in Doboj on Friday on the current situation regarding the situation with coronavirus in BiH.

It was concluded that the institutions responded in a timely manner and that they adopted adequate measures to combat this virus and that the epidemic has been placed under control.

They appealed to all BiH citizens to comply with the instructions of those in charge in such situations, as a number of citizens did not comply with the instructions.

At the proposal of the two ministries of health, a decision was made that all BiH citizens, coming from abroad, go to isolation for 14 days, and that decision comes into force on March 16.

BiH will reduce the number of open border crossings for citizens and goods, it was decided at the meeting.

It was also said that day-to-day communication was needed and that two staffs would be set up, health protection staff and another one, that would look for solutions to reduce the effects of coronavirus on the overall economic activity.

In BiH, a total of 18 cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed, of which 15 in RS.
