BANJA LUKA, March 15 (FENA) - Two new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, raising the total number of patients in that BiH entity to 20, stated today the entity Prime Minister Radovan Višković.

After a meeting of the entity officials held today in Banja Luka, as of tomorrow, all official travels from RS to any neighboring country and the EU are banned.

He said that it was determined that certain business entities and citizens did not comply with the measures of the RS Government and local communities, which would require the possibility of a telephone session of the RS National Assembly to amend the Criminal Code and introduce penalties for non-compliance with those measures.

Višković announced that the number of employees in public institutions would be reduced.

"In the morning hours a certain number of civil servants will do their jobs from home, and only those who are necessary for a smooth operation will come to work," he said at a press conference.

They will recommend that local communities in the RS will adjust the workers' presence at their jobs by at least 50 percent so that the coronavirus does not spread.

On Tuesday, March 17, instruction classes for elementary school students will begin through the RS public broadcasting service.
