SARAJEVO, March 17 (FENA) - The Srebrenica-Potočari Memorial Center has joined an initiative of museums, galleries and memorials to allow this institution to be visited virtually during the period of isolation and movement restrictions due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic.

"In the coming period, we will expand the number of videos and thus provide better insight into all segments of the Srebrenica Memorial Center, which will be made available online. We hope to bring these activities closer to the public, offer and develop further new communication tools that will serve to educate new generations," said the Srebrenica Memorial Center.
The institution points out that this is the beginning of the activities of this kind, and that they wanted to launch a pilot to show the importance for the museums and galleries to face the challenges of the world these days.
"We will follow the instructions of the BiH Presidency and the Council of Ministers of BiH, but we will also try to follow the good practices of world-renowned institutions of similar kind and activities covered by the Srebrenica Memorial Center in order to make a step up, stay in touch and be available to anyone who wants to help, deal with research and have any interest in spreading the truth about the Srebrenica genocide," stated the Srebrenica Memorial Center.
