SARAJEVO, March 17 (FENA) - The FBiH Civil Protection Service Crisis Staff met today in Sarajevo for its first emergency session, organized after the declaration of a state of natural or other disaster, over the coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Minister of Finance and Commander of the FBiH Civil Protection Service Crisis Staff Jelka Milićević stressed at the press conference that in this current situation it is necessary to make appropriate orders in order to put into operation all available resources.
She said that the staff has decided to put the CPS crisis staffs in the cantons and municipalities in full function and to establish coordination between the FBiH and lower levels of government.
She added that so far a set of orders has been defined for the director of the FBiH Civil Protection Administration (FUCZ) and the medical aid department and that a total of 18 orders will be defined in the continuation of the session, including additional orders, relating to public assembly procedures, as well as the rules for the work of catering and public services.
The aforementioned orders addressed to local self-government units, cantonal administrations, companies, private and legal entities and citizens will define measures in accordance with the Decision on the declaration of a state of emergency over the coronavirus (COVID - 19) epidemic in the Federation of BiH.
