Turković holds first videoconference with representatives of diplomatic corps

SARAJEVO, March 19 (FENA) - A videoconference with members of the diplomatic corps was held yesterday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and 55 representatives of diplomatic missions and consular missions accredited to BiH attended.

BiH Foreign Minister Bisera Truković briefed them via video link on the decisions of the Presidency and the Council of Ministers of BiH. They were informed about the ongoing issues related to the COVID-19 virus pandemic in BiH, as well as the urgent need to provide medical equipment, and were informed about the work, activities and plans of the Crisis Staff of the Ministry.

The Minister also informed the diplomats in attendance that the line +387 33 281 309 and the e-mail address emergency@mvp.gov.ba have been recently opened to communicate and support BiH citizens currently abroad, as well as foreign nationals residing in BiH, the BiH MoFA stated.

Our citizens with temporary or permanent residence abroad, with inquiries regarding the measures taken and the situation in BiH caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, can contact our diplomatic missions or consular posts or visit the BiH MoFA website (www.mvp.gov.ba) which is regularly updated, announced the BiH MoFA.
