Director of the company Igman, Konjic and three others infected with coronavirus

KONJIC, March 19 (FENA) - CEO of the company Igman, Konjic and three people who are not employees of this military industry company have been tested positive to coronavirus (Covid-19) virus, the company reported.

"The testing of the persons who, according to the questionnaire submitted previously, were the most susceptible to the transmission of the virus, was carried out on four persons on Wednesday, March 18, 2020.

The results of the tests that arrived this morning (March 19, 2020), confirmed the presence of the COVID-19 virus in all four people. These are the CE of Igman Konjic and three persons who are not employees who were in direct contact with the infected person," the statement said.

The virus was brought in by a guest from Serbia, who attended the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the company's operation on March 11, and immediately upon learning that the guest was infected, the competent epidemiological service was notified and all employees acted according to the instructions received."

At present, the company has measures in place in accordance with the protocol of the competent epidemiological service and crisis staffs. Further instructions on possible special measures are awaited and the public will be informed in a timely manner, it was added.

The company Igman Konjic reminds the public that a ban on holding public gatherings in the Federation of BiH was issued on March 17, six days after the event in Konjic.
