SARAJEVO, March 21 (FENA) - Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to BiH, Mahmoud Heidari, wrote a message on the occasion of the beginning of spring and the epidemic of coronavirus titled "Nowruz in the shadow of corona - the uninvited guest of the Nowruz Iranian Haft-Seen table".
According to a statement from the Embassy, spring is the beginning of the emergence of nature, and Nowruz, March 21, the first day of spring, is the start of the Iranian New Year. According to ancient and thousands of years old customs, at the beginning of spring, as its name implies, the Iranian people renew their clothes and appearance, believing that as the New Year comes and as nature refreshes with the advent of spring, man also, above all, should restores and refreshes himself, all of which begin with the restoration of clothing and the exterior of life to achieve a renewed heart, and they call this tradition Nowruz. According to Iranian and Islamic traditions, hate and hostility that pollute and darken the atmosphere of the heart are delayed at the same time as Nowruz and thus, apart from appearance, they also renew the heart.
Iranian ambassador to BiH reminds that the problem facing this country is the lack of necessary equipment, and that it is on the verge of suffering a crime that targets all of humanity and its conscience, and its innocent people, as a result of the attack of this virus, threaten when cruel sanctions have blocked the way to help them.
“Suppression of the virus obviously requires coordinated and joint regional and international action on the one hand, and adopting rigorous measures, ensuring the basic needs of the people, providing financial support to the categories that have suffered the consequences of freezing business, securing huge health and medical costs, etc. on the other. The implementation of these measures requires strong economic sustainability and strength and a budget of tens of billions of dollars,” stated Ambassador Heidari.
