BANJA LUKA, March 23 (FENA) - The entity of Republika Srpska (RS) Minister of Health and Social Care Alen Šeranić confirmed last night that they have sent a protocol to the FBiH Protection and Rescue Crisis Staf regarding cooperation during checks on travelers at BiH border crossings.
The document, he specified, implies active border control centers, while in consultation with local communities they would place people in quarantines, with the aim of preventing the spread of coronavirus.
"We expect a response from the Federation of BiH during the day. If they do not accept an adequate protocol, which implies mutual cooperation in terms of persons who are citizens of the Federation of BiH, or Bosnia and Herzegovina, we will continue with our measures of more restrictive border entry control, as well as the internal control in terms of epidemiological surveillance," said Šeranić.
He says an additional 12 respirators have been purchased, which will be used for coronavirus patients in RS.
