Šeranić: A doctor from Doboj among seven new persons with coronavirus in RS

BANJA LUKA, March 26 (FENA) - In the entity of Republika Srpska (RS), coronavirus has been confirmed in seven more individuals, increasing the total number of those infected to 121 in the entity, confirmed today the RS Health Minister Alen Šeranić.

When it comes to the newly infected persons, Šeranić said at a news conference in Banja Luka today that one person was from Banja Luka, three were from Kozarska Dubica, two were from Gradiška and one was from Doboj.

He announced that these persons would be quarantined in Banja Luka, where the persons tested positive for coronavirus were staying.

"Two cases from Kozarska Dubica involve family contacts. In Doboj, a doctor from the hospital in that city was tested positive to Covid-19. He has not been at work for the last seven days, but an epidemiologist will examine all the high-risk contacts he has had recently," explained Šeranić.

Of the new seven cases of persons who tested positive, three are women and four are men.
