BANJA LUKA, April 7 (FENA) - In the entity of Republika Srpska (RS), coronavirus has been confirmed in another 42 people, increasing the total number of those infected to 346, and 56 have recovered so far, stated the entity health minister Alen Šeranić.
He specified that 35 of the total number of persons recovered are from Banja Luka, and Šeranić said that the majority of persons from the third cluster in Banja Luka have recovered.
In the past 24 hours, 216 samples have been tested, out of which 42 came back positive, 24 are men and 18 are women, mostly middle-aged.
Šeranić said that out fo these, 27 people are from Banja Luka, four from Laktaši, three from Šipovo, two from Mrkonjić Grad and one each from Kotor Varoš, Čelinac, Kneževo, Ribnik, Prnjavor and Novi Grad/Bosanski Novi.
There are currently five patients on ventilators at University Clinical Center Banja Luka.
So far, a total of 3,025 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in that BiH entity.
In the RS, 11 died from the infection caused by Covid-19.
