BANJA LUKA, April 10 (FENA) - A total of 425 samples were tested at the Institute of Public Health and the University Clinical Center in Banja Luka in the past 24 hours. Sixteen more persons were tested positive for coronavirus.
The number of people infected in the entity of RS increased to 381.
In total, 102 people recovered, of whom 70 were from Banja Luka.
"When it comes to newly infected people, there are nine men and seven women," said Minister of Health and Social Care Alen Šeranić this morning at a press conference in Banja Luka.
Six are from Banja Luka, four from Laktaši, and one each from Kotor Varoš, Trebinje, Mrkonjić Grad, Teslić and Srebrenica.
"These are the first two patients from Trebinje and Srebrenica. They were previously placed in the hospital in Zvornik and Trebinje and had previous pulmonary problems," said Šeranić.
He added that also, one healthcare worker has been infected.
Five patients have been placed on ventilators at UKC Banja Luka.
In RS, 4,159 laboratory tests have been done for coronavirus so far.
Of the consequences of Covid -19, 14 people have died in RS.
